Try to Read Joshua Harris book.. "not even a hint".. it tackles Sexual issue and how it can vary to Christian Life.

Just remember:
Matthew 7:21-23 (New International Version)

21"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' 23Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

'I am not trying to be offensive or spiteful, but I can’t understand how you can say that nothing in scripture refutes what you are doing. When a man looks at a naked woman in porn (and I don’t care how “toned down” it is, he will naturally lust after her, which is clearly labeled as sinful in the above passage. My flesh would love nothing more than for you to be right so I could feel release from my own sexual frustration, but the Bible clearly states that its wrong. Do you have any response to that?'

In the previous paragraph, Jesus also equated anger with murder. Do you think he meant that we should throw people in prison when they get angry?

Do you think Jesus was commanding you to stop looking at women lustfully? But you can't, can you? So do you think he literally meant to castrate yourself, gouge out your eyes, and cut off your hands in order to stop sinning? If so, why haven't you done it? Are you sure that's what he really meant?

I think you're completely misunderstanding what he said. Jesus wasn't saying "avoid getting angry and lusting at all costs". He was just reiterating to the people what he said elsewhere: "All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." He's saying that it's wrong to look at adulterers and murderers and think of them as beneath you; "Those people are sinners and I am righteous". Instead, you should realize that we are all sinners and that we can't stop sinning, no matter how hard we try. We will always get angry, and we will always lust, which is why he died on the cross to redeem us, so we wouldn't need to feel guilty again.

Ask an alcoholic to just have one drink, it is ok, just one, what can it hurt. Now ask me to look at just one naked lady ingaged in masterbation, I can't, I have to look at more leading to porn. self control, satin is more powerful than you and only Christ can lead you to the strait road. Greater is he within me then he that is in the world.

As one who has had past problems with porn, I can tell you this, satin will use it as anything aginist you, if it means keeping you from a ralationship with Christ. Yes it is true that God gave us masterbation as a gift, but porn will lead you into sin because you will get hooked and you will start living for it. Next thing you know, wife gone, satins plan to destroy what God has brought together. It is true, don't start. beautiful women are a gift from God, but don't allow that as an excuse to view porn. It is all a lie, there is no such thing as "Christian porn", just another lie by the devil, soon you will not get enough and you will find yourself looking at pure smut. I love looking at pretty women, but all sites on the net lead you to porn!

Reply to Greg:
You are a misguided former porn guy, Greg!
You're saying that you have repented now?
Too bad that you forgot how many were killed in the name of Christianity. Where are the Pagans who the Christians killed because they believed essentially in nature and matriarchal worship?
Maybe, just maybe, when you were interested in porn you were feeling natural, too.
In your Jan. 28th reply you start out saying that because we are all born sinners, then it is NATURAL (your words in caps)to have sexual feelings. I take it that you mean to say that sin equates to the natural feelings of sexuality?
Please! Don't be an idiot! You can't start out with a premise that makes no sense. How does natural sexuality infer sin? What you might say is that sin has to do with Christians killing in the name of religion. Now that's a specific sin.
What is the commandment against sex again? Did you find it? Please let us know.

THIS IS ALL FROM AN OPEN MINDED, AND WELL STUDIED GUY THAT JUST WANTS PEOPLE TO SEE THIS AS IT IS.

To make a note before I begin, I'm a christian guy, and have been addicted to porn in the past.

Lets begin with misconceptions. The bible is silent on self pleasure. Those people above who have claimed that it either allows or disallows it have read too far into passages that do not cover the subject. However, the bible is very clear on letting things come between God and yourself. (1st Commandment: "Thou shalt not put any idol before me").

To respond to Greg, no, doing crack is not a sin.. unless.. A) it harms your body:

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 ESV
"Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple." (aka, people who abuse crack to an extent that it actually injures the body have sinned [generally crack users are addicts due to the extensively strong addictive nature of the drug which causes certain health violations and risks])

And B) if it is an addiction: which as said is very common due to the addictive nature of the drug crack actually pulls you away from god by turning a desire into a "necessity" causing you to put that as a false god before Him.

Now, on the subject of self pleasure, let it be stated that in no way is that act in and of itself written out to be a sin in the bible. However, this becomes a sin when A) it becomes an addiction: on this point, not all people are addicted to masturbation, and so can be avoided, however, it can very easily slip into one's life as a "necessity" rather then just genuine release, and at that point it is putting an idol between yourself and God.

And it also can cause sin through B) lusting after others. the verse is clearly stated in about 4 posts already, that lusting after a woman or man that you are not married to is considered as the sin of adultery (in marriage) or fornication (out of marriage). It is also possible to give oneself pleasure and release without fantasizing about someone that you are not married to, but here's where porn comes in.

ENTER porn's issue, stage right:
porn naturally causes a desire for the woman or man that one sees in it. There are, I'm sure, a few who genuinely don't think of the people they are looking directly at on the computer screen, however I believe that when most of us look at porn, we are looking and thinking on it. This is where violation of point B comes to hand. That is sin, and for that being sin, you should eliminate causes of sin as best you can in your life. Additionally porn combined with self pleasure has a much more addictive quality than self pleasure on it's own. That addictive quality can, but does not always lead to addiction creating an idol (which violates point A).

It is my personal opinion, that masturbation is natural, and that self release can actually prevent sin, but it is clear that porn causes sin for all but the most resilient people that look at it, and for that reason there cannot be christian porn. A more interesting and less spoken upon subject (because it does not have such a simple argument as the one above), is: is fantasizing about fictional characters through stories or cartoon porn a sin? Can one fornicate with something that is fictional?

p.s. It is a valiant attempt at creating a way for release, but in the end, christian porn just can't happen.

Hello Sam:

You make an interesting reading! Tell me, you mean Angels come to have sex with you? Do you consider it okay?

Please, could you one of these days get a good, explicit picture of your wife (If you are married)on the net for all to view?

Have you ever heard of spiritual pairing or spiritual sexual infection?

You know the truth in your heart.

God loves you dearly because He has a wonderful plan for you. Do discover it!
