Sexual repression has led to all sorts of social and psychological problems in the United States and abroad. This can really be seen in the Middle East, where men literally torture themselves over their natural, wonderful sexual feelings; feelings they blame as a consequence of women. This not only makes a mockery of equal rights for the sexes, but, eventually, causes horrible double standards in these countries, where women may be stoned to death if they commit adultery or even if they are raped. I won’t even discuss clitoral castration.

Jesus never said masturbation should not be enjoyed to the fullest extent, and viewing porn to assist one with private fantasies is much healthier than visiting prostitutes to lying to women to get them to sleep with you. But within the world of porn, there is a danger.

As you’re probably well aware, the WWW is strewn with pitfalls to get you to view images that depict acts that certainly go against our Christian faith. Images of men and women engaged in unnatural, degrading, and seemingly violent acts have nothing to do with the beautiful element of self love. The individual exploration of our bodies, and the special feelings it can give us when touched correctly, can, and should, be like playing a musical instrument. Christian masturbation is what we are talking about.
There has never been anything wrong with masturbation; it won’t make you go blind or cause hair to grow on your palms. It is a whole lot healthier to touch ourselves for pleasure than to force ourselves to ignore these natural needs and experience guilt when we give in to them. And trust me, we all give in to them, and we should not feel guilty when we do because God most certainly created them for us to enjoy.

Wouldn’t it seem funny if everyone went around plugging their noses or eating only bark because someone thousands of years ago said smell or taste went against God’s will? Well, I for one think God knows what His will is! And if someone says He does not want us to explore our bodies, then that person (and what a very gutsy person) is saying God made a mistake. He placed our genitals within reach of our hands with unwavering confidence! Of course, just as you don’t eat bacon all day long, you don’t want to lock yourself in your room for a whole day and give yourself tennis elbow! But certainly a little yummy slice now and then can’t hurt.
